PREVENTION OF DENTAL CARIES IN CARIES-ACTIVE INDIVIDUALS BY GASEOUS OZONE

Introduction: The action of ozone is associated with the prevention dental plaque formation, and reduction bacterial development supports caries. This paper aims to establish effect gaseous on developing new caries lesions two years after its application for caries-active patients. Material Methods: Patients aged 30 50 were selected no common diseases. They all have five or more teeth, without missing teeth. divided into groups 10 participants. One group had ozonation another a control ozonation. Results: After years, number in prophylactic significant. results showed that patients significantly fewer primary than those group( p≤0.0001). Conclusions: Repeated teeth according applied methodology (10 times, distributed twice week by 24 seconds exposure state) has caries-protective against lesions.
